A back lying core drill where you move the limbs while keeping the low back still. For core control and low back pain.

How to do it

Lie on your back, arms up toward the ceiling, hips and knees at 90 degrees. Exhale hard to bring the ribs down and flatten the low back into the floor. Straighten one leg until it hovers just above the ground, return it, then switch sides. Keep the back flat throughout.

Common mistake

Letting the low back arch as the leg goes out. Shorten the reach so the back stays flat, and exhale as the leg extends.

Helps with

  • Core control
  • Low back pain
